CMHA Annual Celebration

February 2023: City Mental Health Alliance UK Annual Celebration, London.

The brief for this commission was to photograph the band on stage, speakers on stage, the full room of people, awards, award presentations and winners, the Q&A and people networking. This event was a 10 year celebration for the organisation and all they have achieved. For a three hour commission, there was a lot packed in. 

Guests listened to presentations and the band who performed in two sections during the evening. Lead singer, Melissa James was also invited to join a member of the CMHA team in a ‘Fireside Chat’.

Awards were presented (on stage) to three different companies. During these moments, I took photos as seen below.

A further part of the evening was scheduled for individual team portrait photos. These were taken for CMHA to use in their marketing promotions. I asked subjects to stand in three different poses, looking at the camera. This was done without time (just before the event began), so I had to be quick with setting up my equipment and directing the subjects.

All images were formatted in Adobe Lightroom, saved to high res 12 inch x 8 inch size digital images and sent to the client. This was a job for a client I have worked for in the past, it was great to reconnect with them on this special occasion.
