Rooftop anniversary event

October 2023: 10 year anniversary event, Savage Garden Rooftop Bar, London.

This was an evening commission, in London, in the city. The venue was perfect for the event, the staff were very welcoming and attentive towards the hosts and guests. The party had 100+ guests and was held at Savage Garden Rooftop Bar at the Doubletree By Hilton.

I was asked to arrive early to take a few photographs of the venue, inside and outside. It is an impressive hotel, from the entrance, lifts, rooftop bar and function areas.

The venue lends itself well to photographic opportunities with lots of open spaces to intimate corners. The staff really attended to the hosts and guests, and even asked me at one point, that it was about time I should have a glass of wine or beer. 

Views around each side of the venue were very impressive, I did photograph the guests against these backdrops, however, due to a request for me not to include shots with clients in my blog, I cannot show them.

For part of the evening, there was a presentation speech in form of attendees, this took place in the bar area. Towards the end of the commission, I suggested that a team (hosts) photo should be taken. The client was happy with the evening, guests enjoyed themselves and after the event, social media marketing posts have been included on Linked In. Further to this there will be more marketing of photos that will be included online and in print.
