Bespoke wrapping paper

November 2023: Christmas wrapping paper, for two clients.

Two clients, Shore Way marketing and Harrisons Homes requested some fun designs of wrapping paper. I picked up that Liz, from Shore Way Marketing, loves the old style VW camper van, so I mocked up a design incorporating the vehicle, along with a large Christmas tree (on the roof).

The image below shows a close up of the design – with the client logo placed on the side of the camper van.

The design was also adapted to suit Harrisons Homes (below), both have used the client corporate colours. Artwork was set up at 70cm wide x 50cm tall. This size of paper works well as wrapping paper.

The designs were created in Adobe Illustrator, this is a great software package for drawing / creating vector images. Above designs have gone to print and will have a small print run of x50 copies each.

I also created a large doodle design of Faversham (at A3 size) for the same client, the design repeated over a larger format (70cm x 50). This is pen and ink style illustration and includes a lot of characterful features. Plus I added people, doing a variety of things, such as enjoying coffee, walking the dog, etc.

Below is a close up of the main part of the illustration. The centre of Faversham features, with the Guildhall, market, cinema, coffee shops, etc. We seem to have plenty of dog owners in Faversham, they were a must for including within the design.

Finally, below is a Land Rover wrapping paper design, this was done as an experiment to see how it would look. In truth, I am really nuts about vintage Land Rovers and could not resist creating the design. The wrapped presents looked great.
