Corporate photo shoot

July / August 2024: Corporate photo shoot (Orpington and Winchester).

A repeat client who is going through the process of updating their website, recently contacted me for a commission to take employee photos. I took shots as below (including full length shots for senior members of the company).

In order to build up a set of expressions, I asked subjects to look serious, half smile and then a big smile. I find that by asking subjects not to smile (the serious expression), this seems to make them smile! Which helps to achieve a more natural looking expression.

I rolled out the white backdrop for the full length shots. Black tape on the floor marks where the subject should stand. I can Photoshop out the tape once the client has selected their photo. Selected shots will end up on the new website. The total number of employees is over 100, this is a good day meeting, bossing employees and then taking their photo!

The third shoot will be in Winchester. I will set up as close as I can to the first two days photo shoot. To match the position / expression / poses as closely as I can.
