East St. Deli, Faversham

Ongoing: logo / brand / photos for East St. Deli.

Further to initial logo creation and ideas for stationery, I have taken a set of photos for use on printed material.

Nicky Reader (the client) outlined her ideas for design of logo and branding. The brief mentioned values such as a friendly, local provisions store, quality, expertise, top customer service, open all hours style, vintage deli style but with a new feel.

It was agreed that the logo would be simple, clean and strong in look / colours. I outlined the deli name with a key line rectangle and the location ‘Faversham’.

The logo is located on the shop front door and on in-store food labels. Based on the initial design ideas, the logo is intended to be included on an awning outside the shop. There is also a clear window decal showing the produce on sale, this was applied by local supplier SEC Works, located in Preston Street, Faversham.

As well as deli food, coffee is available to take away or enjoy within the shop. Loyalty cards, business cards, vouchers, postcards, graphics on cups, point of sale and shop-front awning graphics have also been designed. I set out a brand colour scheme for the Deli, see below.

I recently visited the deli to take a set of photos, that would work on various stationery items.

This is a great commission; the deli is full of great products, the interior and exterior look great and I really enjoy working with the client to create East St. Deli branded material. Currently, I’m finalising the design for £10, £20 and £50 vouchers.
