Faversham What’s on leaflet

January/February 2024: Visit Faversham What’s on Guide 2024 leaflet.

The brief for this design job was to create a new style leaflet, which was simpler in look and easier to see when the events take place. The client talked about a complete step away (design-wise) from what was used previously.

However, the format was still to have a 2 sided, A4 scored and folded to DL size leaflet. The images below show both sides of the leaflet.

On the inside spread, the dates, which were laid out in year planner style was dropped, in favour of a less busy, more visual style calendar. It also seemed unnecessary to include dates where nothing took place. Part of the design, included creating Faversham based silhouettes of recognisable buildings and of a Thames Barge. This ran along the bottom of the inside spread and front (cover section).

Apart from the top two images, all other images are photographs of the finished article. The client is very happy with the design / leaflet.  The print run was 10,000, all leaflets were delivered last week and are located in the Town Council offices and around the town for locals and visitors to pick up.
