My old Yashica Lynx-1000

Ongoing: From time to time I like to pick up one of my old film cameras and take some photos. This is a YASHICA LYNX – 1000 dating from the 1960s’. 

It’s a well build 35mm film camera. It was a great experience to use a film camera again.

It changes your whole approach to taking photos.

I challenge any digital camera user to try a 35mm film camera – give it a go and see how many times you look at the back of the camera to see the image on the LCD screen (only to realise you can’t do that)! True it costs money to get the colour film, then get it processed. But, it is a good thing to do as you have to really think about what kind of image you would like to take before pushing the shutter button down.
