Wedding in Faversham
June 2026: Honor & Pete’s wedding, Faversham, Kent.
Wow, what a sunny, beautiful day, just perfect for a wedding.
I joined the party in the centre of Faversham, where I took a sneaky photograph of the Groom having a swift pint in The Bear (next door to the wedding venue) just before the guest started arriving. Soon after, the family and guests arrived just before the arrival of the Bride. At 3pm, I photographed a lovely service in the historic Guildhall building and confetti shots, guests gathering outside.

Later on in the day, the party moved on to the Shepherd Neame Brewery function rooms; A great venue for the wedding reception. I was asked to take a group photo – of everyone! 120 people were at this evening event, a challenge as I had not taken a shot in this area before. I did take a quick look at the area, pre shoot – it’s a ramp under the clock tower (where the barrels of beer were rolled down to the carts, back in the day). The raised platform I stood on, took 5 minutes to get to, so I had to direct everyone into position (from up high)!

The couple are delighted with the full set of photos, it was a great day, lots of love and smiles. I captured what they’d hoped for – lots of happy moments with candid shots and group photos.
