Art studio photo shoot

June 2026: Photo shoot – Anne’s home studio, Faversham, Kent.

Slightly different from my corporate headshot work, local artist Anne MacLaren, asked me to photograph her in her home studio, outdoor kiln area and garden workspace. This was located very close to my workspace in Creek Creative, Faversham. A nice commission with a nice commute!

The property (studio) is very photogenic and a characterful setting. We agreed on what sort of images Anne wanted; some artworks and studio set up, others included Anne (taken in a candid style).

The artworks were visually appealing and great to photograph. It was a tight space (to work in with my off-camera light), but great to work in – there were interesting artwork everywhere you looked.

The outdoor space had fabulous light, interesting corners with great textures. 

All images were supplied to Anne as high resolution and web ready formats. Images will be added to Anne’s new website.
